Thank you for visiting Affinity Chiropractic. If you would like to see my credentials, please see my Curriculum Vitae.

When I was 15 years old I injured my low back. It was a typical sprain/strain of the lumbar spine. My father insisted on taking me to his chiropractor because of all the amazing things this doctor could do. I was skeptical at first, even though I had no real reason to be. I was amazed when I walked into his clinic in pain, and walked out of his clinic PAIN FREE. I returned to the chiropractor for several more visits to ensure that my treatment remained effective after he explained to me how soft tissue heals and how one adjustment was only a short term solution. Within a few months, I was fully rehabilitated and playing basketball with no pain. I just felt healthier, and my immune system was stronger than ever. Furthermore, with the advice of my doctor of chiropractic, I recovered from a chronically sprained ankle that I had been battling for over a year.

I am eternally grateful that my dad introduced me to chiropractic. Without receiving the proper treatment, my back may have felt better over time with rest and pain killers, but it would not have fixed the problem. The ligaments and bones in my back would not be supporting my weight properly, and my muscles would have been prone to further injury because they would be too occupied with splinting the injured area instead of allowing for a full range of motion. I was so impressed with all that the chiropractic profession had to offer, that I decided to become a doctor of chiropractic.
After attending the University of Colorado, Boulder and receiving my BA in Kinesiology and Applied Physiology, I attended Northwestern College of Chiropractic in Bloomington, Minnesota and graduated Cum Laude. I have been practicing my passion and helping many patients ever since.

Every doctor of chiropractic practices differently and I am proud to say that I offer a very personal approach to chiropractic care. I listen to my patient’s needs and concerns and help them achieve an optimal state of health. I work with a variety of conditions ranging from injuries to stress to wellness care. I absolutely LOVE to work with pregnant women as they are prone to developing new aches and pains and they are not good candidates for pain relievers. I also work with kids (my youngest patient was 6 weeks old!) and senior citizens. I work to help people integrate healthy habits at home and work including stretches, exercises, proper nutrition, and use of custom fit orthotics. All of these maximize your body’s health and eventually, reduce the amount of time you have to see me!

I look forward to seeing you and helping you achieve and maintain an optimal state of health!
