I'm very excited about a new product line I'm offering! If you've heard of ISAGENIX, you already know how wonderful their products are. If not, this is your cue to pay attention! ISAGENIX is a nutrition company specializing in nutritional cleanses and supplements. Their supplements are very bioavailable and their products help detoxify your body and fortify it with NATURAL nutrition. The side effects of this process are awesome - WEIGHT LOSS and INCREASED ENERGY! When toxins accumulate in our body, they hinder the bodies performance. And our bodies can only work on the fuel given to them. ISAGENIX works with the body to provide it the materials it needs to function, heal, work and bring out the miracle that it is. I'm not only offering this for my patients, but use it for myself and recommend it to friends and family. Contact me for more information!

I hope everyone received the information about Medpay. Starting next month, a law will be enacted to put medpay on all auto insurance to ensure that people have medical coverage in the case of an accident. Some insurance companies are stating that if you have health insurance, you don't need Medpay, and can safely opt out. THIS IS NOT TRUE! Health insurance has limitations on the kind of care you need (chiropractic, massage, acupuncture) and will not budge in the case of a personal injury. Plus, over utilizing health insurance for cases that auto insurers are responsible for is INCREASING your deductibles! Most insurance companies insuring your car don't want to be responsible on the front end for YOUR medical claims. It's not expensive, and will give you the best peace of mind you can ask for. GET MEDPAY. It pays for ambulance rides, X-rays, and ER visits as well.

Whew! I think I'm finally back in the swing of things! Thanks for everyone's understanding while I was out of town in late June for John's mid tour leave. We had a great time, and he is now finishing up his deployment overseas.
But since March, so much has happened! We have a great massage therapist, Cindy Kinzer! She's a certified Reiki master and teacher and she also does IonCleanses in the office! The IonCleanse is a detoxifying foot bath that cleanses from the inside out.
I also have a new modality available - COLD LASER THERAPY. Cold laser transfers energy through light. What happens when a cold laser is applied is the area is activated which results in more energy and circulation to the area. This speeds up healing and can decrease inflammation. Some people feel a general warmth, but many people feel nothing at all during treatment.

December 2007
I know it has been a while since I have posted any updates. Here at Affinity Chiropractic, we have been wonderfully busy treating patients and helping people get well and stay well! But this month I have BIG NEWS!! As some of you already know, my boyfriend is currently in command of the 183rd Maintenance Company of the US Army. They are deployed to Iraq and are slated to be there for 15 months!! Affinity Chiropractic has decided to adopt them! We are hosting a supply drive to give the soldiers what they need and SHOW LOVE FOR OUR TROOPS!!! This will take place, along side a guest appreciation week, from January 14-18, 2008. In addition, we will be having a party on JANUARY 17, 2008 from 5:30 pm to 9 pm to gather supplies, learn ways to keep our New Year's Resolutions, and meet new people! This will be a fun time helping out troops in need, and also a great way to introduce people to chiropractic and how wellness can be beneficialy to us all!
July 2007
I have hired a massage therapist in the office!! Her name is Cricket Sons, and she is WONDERFUL. I highly recommend that you schedule with her to see what she can do for you as far as relaxation, injury rehab, or loosening up those muscles that just don`t seem to budge! I know she will be an intricate part of my treatment plans.
I have also changed my office hours to offer morning availability! Check out "Office Hours" or the "Monthly Newsletter" (under Health Information) for the latest updates!
May 2007
I have signed up for multiple healthcare discount plans - this makes insurance billing non-existent, and still allows chiropractic care to be the most affordable wellness care available. I participate with Supporting Each Other (for service professionals), Unicare, Ameriplan, and My Happy Teeth. If you are looking for a way to get the care you need as well as make ends meet, look into these great plans. they offer discounts on dental and vision care too!
April 2007
I am volunteering for the Avon Walk for Breast Cancer! Go to www.avonwalk.com to contribute, sign up to walk, or even make a note of the date so you can stop by to say hi at Clement Park. June 23 and 24th!
March 2007
I have come across the most amazing whole food supplement. This is better than anything I have ever come across - and I get a LOT of info on supplements being an advocate for preventative health. It is called Body Balance and contains phytonutrients, glyconutrients and antioxidants (in addition to essential vitamins and minerals). This is to be a STAPLE for our nutritional needs as our the nutritional content in our soils continues to be depleted. The beauty of this supplement is that it comes from a section of pristine ocean known as the regenerist zone. I am recommending this to ALL my patients as it can help achieve your health goals. Please contact me for more details. You can also visit the website at www.lifeforce.net/20624024 for more info and to order direct! (sign up to be a customer first - it`s free!)
February 2007
More great news! I have recently paired up with a great company called Supporting Each Other! This is a great company that offers discounts to service professionals including teachers, firefighters, military personnel, paramedics, policemen and their families! If you qualify - purchase a discount card, and you can save 25% on your chiropractic services! See their website www.supportingeachother.com for details! This is just a great program to give back to those who give so much for our communities!
January 2007
Remember, if you have a new insurance program please let me know so I can verify your chiropractic benefits!
Yours in Health,
Dr. Jennifer McClurkin
