About Massage

Massage is increasingly recognized for its healing potential.  Not only is it a way to relax and de-stress – which is key for emotional and spiritual health – it helps improve the efficacy of soft tissues (muscles, ligaments and tendons), reduces pain, and increases vitality and health.  Massage is used to prevent injury, rehabilitate injured tissue, break up scar tissue, lengthen shortened muscle, and maintain chiropractic adjustments.  But, as always, you have to have the right massage therapist who is trained to do all of these things.  While a back rub from a significant other or child feels good, they rarely can accomplish the level of healing that a licensed massage therapist that reach.

Cindy Kinzer, LMT

Cindy Kinzer is a Licensed Massage Therapist and Reiki Master.  Her massages focus on relaxation and rejuvenation.  She specializes in Swedish massage, Reiki and Reflexology.  She also offers deep tissue as well as trigger point therapy, and often incorporates multiple techniques in each session to maxmize the benefit to you.  Cindy also offers IonCleanse through Affinity Chiropractic.  IonCleanse uses an ionizing foot bath to detoxify the body and create more energy and reduce symptoms of chronic disease.

Massage is the natural compliment to chiropractic care and helps speed the rate of healing.  Studies have also shown that the benefits of massage reach far beyond relaxation, and can actually work better than morphine for pain relief!
